Turbobits is an internet mail order business only. We do not have a workshop or retail premises so do not accept personal callers.
LEGAL NOTE
It is the purchasers responsibility to follow all installation instructions, guidelines and safety procedures supplied with any kits or parts and to determine the compatibility of the product with the vehicle or the application the purchaser wishes to install the product on.
Turbobits assumes no responsibility for damages occuring from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, improper operation, lack of reasonable care, errors in instructions or incompatibility with the vehicle or application.
Any correspondance between the purchaser and Turbobits with respect to installation or compatibility of products with vehicles or applications is offered 'as an opinion'. Turbobits are not qualified in motor mechanics and will not be held responsible for damages resulting from installation of products on vehicles or other devices where the purchaser has relied entirely on Turbobits correspondance to determine compatibility or installation methods.
In all cases it remains the responsibility of the purchaser to determine compatibility of the products sold by Turbobits before commencing installation on a vehicle or other device.
NITROUS REFILLS
Our refill service is only for automotive use. Do not buy a refill from us for breathing. By ticking the 'agree to terms and conditions' box, you agree not to breathe nitrous oxide bought from us.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
When you checkout our regular server switches to a https secure server, please read the 'Credit Card Security' section below for more info.

We also accept WIRE TRANSFER / PAYMENT TO BANK... This is mainly aimed at our international customers who may not have a suitable credit or debit card. For Wires, electronic, internet banking or even cash paid over a bank counter select this method when you order and we'll contact you with the necessary information of how to pay. If you pay by this method you must accept your bank charges and payment must be paid in GBP/Pounds Sterling.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of delivery. Delivery will be charged according to our 'Shipping + Handling' section displayed below.
Shipping And Handling

(For orders including a gas bottle or racing fuel.)
The above prices are set prices and cover shipping and handling.
Delivery Schedule
At Turbobits we like to ship your order quickly. However, the nature of our business is such that many of the orders need to be built to your requirements. We work with many smaller 'bespoke' companies and they tend to put kits together for you instead of stocking lots of different kits all the time. As some of our products can be ordered in many colours or specifications we do not keep much stock but rather, order your goods from the manufacturer as required. (Imagine how many pressure gauges we'd have to stock if we had one of each combinaton when you can pick the colours of the bezel, face and display!!)
Other ranges have so many different products that it would be impossible for us to house them all in our current offices so we get them from the manufacturer or have him ship them straight to you.
See below for our delivery schedule guidelines:
AQUAMIST ---------- normally in stock, delivery 1-5 days
DYNOTUNE NITROUS ---------- nitrous oxide usually in stock for next working day delivery
DYNOTUNE GAUGES ---------- Gauges built to order 10-14 days delivery.
REDLINE ---------- normally in stock, usually next day delivery although allow 3 days for delivery.
You can always email us and check our (or our manufacturer's) stock holding on a particular item before you order!
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock with the manufacturer, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Please see the 'delivery schedule' section for information on stock holding.
Tax Charges
Our prices are shown including VAT at the current rate of 17.5%
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
When you checkout, our store switches to a 'https' secure server and, if you wish, you can verify this in a number of ways:
1. Look for the 'https://' at the beginning of the webpage address.
2. Look for the golden padlock icon displayed on your browser.
Our website mixes http and https protocols to ensure that the information and brochure pages come to you quickly over a non-secure (http) server and that your personal information and credit/debit card details are taken on a secure (https) server. Turbobits has a dedicated SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, click the Geotrust logo above to verify our certificate!
Guarantee
We work with many small companies that each have their own terms of guarantee. Goods will be covered by the manufacturer's guarantee and we at Turbobits will endeavour to sort out any problems that you may have. If you require specific information on a products guarantee please email us.

We prefer to correspond by email where possible but if you would like to chat send us an email with your phone number and we'll call you when we're not processing orders or packing boxes. We're hot on emails and check them several times a day... so if you mail us we WILL reply asap.
Privacy Policy
Turbobits do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
Returns Policy
THE LAW
Your rights to return goods is protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive and the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended by the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002). Details of these can be found at:

Essentially, under these regulations we are not obliged to restock:
* Goods made to your personal requirements or specifications (eg a gauge with a particular colour combination, a part ordered in specially in a particular size or colour or something ordered especially to fit your model or type of vehicle). If you are ordering such items please be sure that your order is correct and what you want before proceeding to the checkout. ...It is your responsibilty to ensure that a product will fit your application and is suitable.
RETURN OF ITEMS FOR REPLACEMENT
If the goods we send you are found to be faulty or damaged on receipt, please contact us by email to arrange for a replacement to be sent.
RETURN OF ITEMS FOR REFUND
The above regulations permit you a 7 day cooling off period in which time you may return the goods to us for a refund. Please note that it does not apply to goods specially ordered to your personal requirements or specifications as defined above. Should you wish to return goods because you have changed your mind about them, you must first contact us by email and inform us that you will be sending them back to us. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the items to us and the return must be made by recorded/registered delivery so that you can be sure we receive them. The goods must also be in new condition with original undamaged packaging. Once we receive the goods back we will refund the original purchase price excluding the delivery cost. We will also charge you a fee of 10% of the value of the goods (minimum £10) to cover our restocking costs (As we have credit card charges on purchases and refunds as well as costs of getting non-stock items back to our suppliers).
Remittance Terms
Your credit or debit card will be charged usually on the day that you place your order. Card transactions are done manually after we receive your order and we will email you to confirm the order once the payment goes through.
