Most late model turbo systems have a in-built defence mechanism to guard against increases in boost pressure. While these systems are important, they are an obstacle when the factory boost pressure is raised. A Turbosmart fuel cut defender will allow boost pressure to be increased above the factory fuel cut and prevent momentary shutdown of the fuel injection system.
